A late 19th Century English drawing room suite, comprising one two-seater settee and two matching upholstered armchairs. The carved hardwood frames (likely walnut or mahogany) feature pierced foliate splats and elegant cabriole front legs, sitting on their original brass castors - classic design elements of the late Victorian period.
This suite reflects the era's refined shift from heavy overstuffed upholstery towards more graceful carved silhouettes influenced by Revival and Orientalist tastes. With its updated kilim-style geometric fabric and chocolate leather backs, the suite bridges historic craftsmanship with a contemporary visual voice - making it ideal for boutique interiors, eclectic townhouses, or stylish commercial hospitality settings.
While the choice of upholstery fabrics is striking and highly attractive, the work was not carried out to a high standard. Therefore, the item's price includes new upholstery and fabric. It can be purchased as is for a reduced price.
