A very rare and highly distinctive mid century teak draw leaf coffee table, beautifully constructed and unusually versatile in design.

Handmade and executed to a high standard, the table adjusts to three different widths via its clever draw leaf mechanism. When fully extended it measures 82.5 cm wide; partially closed it reduces to 69.5 cm; and fully compact it measures 56.5 cm — making it ideal for adaptable modern living.

The top is particularly striking, composed of contrasting cuts of timber arranged in a geometric pattern across the central section. The variation in grain and tone creates visual depth and movement, elevating it beyond standard production pieces. Beneath the top sits concealed storage — discreetly integrated and highly practical.

There is no maker’s mark or recorded provenance, though the craftsmanship suggests Danish influence. Equally, it carries a distinct Gordon Russell aesthetic in its restrained proportions, refined joinery and thoughtful detailing.
