Original Mid Century Statement Piece Dining Set (circa 1950)

We are delighted to offer you this quite unique and supremely attractive statement piece dining set. This is an original 1950s set that is quite unlike anything else you will find on the market. It comprises four chairs and a glass-top dining table. The chairs are made from a wooden frame that is held together by an iron fixing in gold. The frame sits on four solid beech wood tapered legs with metal feet and brass surrounds. The sturdy table sits on matching legs and has a wood top that is covered in vinyl with a full glass top. It can be used with or without the glass top. The velvet and printed velvet upholstery, done by exciting modern designer Marzena, is brand new and adds vibrancy and freshness to the chairs. The rim of the back rest has a black plastic seem to match the rest of the furniture, which is decorated by metal studs. Another wonderful feature of these chairs is that the back rests can easily be removed, transforming them into very attractive stools.
