Ligne Roset ‘Downtown’ Chaise Longue – Pascal Mourgue

A rare Ligne Roset 'Downtown' chaise longue, designed by the celebrated French designer Pascal Mourgue and produced by Ligne Roset. This iconic piece epitomises Mourgue's modernist approach, combining sculptural elegance with functional versatility.

The adjustable backrest offers three distinct positions:
- Fully flat - transforming into a single bed or three-seater bench
- Sloped recliner - ideal for relaxed lounging
- Upright recliner - providing supportive seating for everyday use

Set on minimalist retro metal legs, the piece exudes a light industrial aesthetic while retaining Ligne Roset's signature sophistication. The chaise bears the Ligne Roset maker's mark, confirming its authenticity and design pedigree.

The original upholstery is distressed and requires reupholstery, presenting an opportunity for the buyer to select a bespoke fabric or leather finish tailored to their own interior style. The price includes a variety of fabrics. Leather is also available but at a premium. Please contact us me for an exact quotation.
