Iconic Original 1950s Bertoia Chair by Harry Bertoia for Knoll International

We are delighted to make available four increasingly rare iconic mid century Bertoia chairs by Harry Bertoia for Knoll International. The chairs dates to the early 1950s. The frame is made from wire finished in white that sits on a cast iron frame in black. The chairs are being offered as single but can be purchased as a set. If you would like the set, we would be happy to offer you a discount. Harry Bertoia (1915-1978) was an Italian and American painter, sculptor and designer. He is renowned for his sculptural, organic and functional approach of design. he cushions have been added by us and are brand new bespoke cushions. Condition Report The chair is in excellent condition for its age. There are very light age-related marks, but nothing substantial and not damage. The chair is extremely well built and a solid piece of furniture. The cushions are brand new.
