Elegant 1960s Avalon Teak Sideboard / TV Stand with Spacious Storage

Discover the timeless elegance of this Scandinavian design vintage sideboard / TV stand. It was handcrafted in the 1960s by renowned British furniture maker Avalon.

Renowned for its remarkable simplicity and clean style, this piece features a beautiful light teak veneer finish, enhanced by its rich colour and wood grain. The sideboard is meticulously designed with square spindles and simple ovoid handles, exuding a refined aesthetic. It offers ample storage with three long drawers of varying heights, the top drawer lined with felt and equipped with removable compartments. The right side houses a cupboard with a drop-down door, providing additional space with a removable shelf. Raised on high legs, this sideboard has a light, uncluttered presence, making it a perfect addition to any room. Expertly constructed with dovetailed drawers and hardwood runners, it stands solid and free from structural issues or woodworm.

The sideboard is in very good vintage condition. The top is in our workshop being refinished in order to remove a few marks and return it to its original glory.
