Circa 1940s Oak Wingback Armchair - Newly Upholstered

Newly upholstered in a hard-wearing mid-century design fabric, this chair offers a perfect blend of vintage charm and modern practicality. Its shape is reminiscent of the iconic Jindrich Halabala designs, with echoes of Parker Knoll's 1950s styles, but with the added elegance of a wingback silhouette. On balance, it appears to be a very rare British-made armchair. The thick oak arms have been sympathetically restored, preserving the chair's character, while the brand new upholstery and strapping ensure lasting comfort and support.
